How to Make Explanation Text

Actually, making explanation text is not too difficult as long as we master the material to be written. This is inseparable from the main purpose of making this article which is intended to provide a little explanation of what and how something can happen. Before we write this article, it's good to know about the generic structure of explanation text.

There are 3 parts that must be met to make an explanation text, namely:

  • General Statement (also known as the beginning (Intro)) 
This section is an opening sentence to introduce a subject that you will discuss. Usually it is information that is general in nature but is still closely related to the subject matter.

  • Sequenced of Explanation 
In this section is the core of explanation text which has the function of answering a problem related to "Why" and "How". Usually this section is the longest part of the explanation text which can consist of one paragraph or more.

  • Closing 
Actually, without closing an article can be categorized as an explanation text. However, there are some opinions which state that closing is also needed to make writing more structured. Usually in the closing, it is said about the conclusions or ideas and the thoughts the author wants to convey related to the article.

  Holla Readers!  Welcome back to my blog, so today I will explain about Explanation Text pt. 2 Happy Reading ♪( ´θ｀)ノ Language Feature Of Explanation Text Using sentences in the form of tense / current time (Present Indefinite or Simple Present Tense). Passive voice / passive voice to direct the reader to the process or event rather than the subject. Elements of abstract nouns, namely nouns that cannot be seen in real terms, such as love, joy, emotions, etc. Just like the example of recount text, in explanation text also use action verbs to describe ongoing processes such as kick, eat, think, run, etc. There are noun phrases/noun phrases, for example white snow, water cycle, big house, etc. Using technical terms, namely terms that refer to the topic being discussed.
